Memory Keepers Workshop

For Philadelphia students ages 8 to 11

This workshop will take place at 3861 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Every child’s story needs a good beginning. Memory Keepers is an intergenerational workshop for children working alongside an adult in their lives to capture special memories. Over the course of three Sunday afternoons in November, we will listen to excerpts from the anthology, Oh Baby!, then, using multiple prompts, write and revise our Mighty Memories. Perhaps you’ll have new tales of forgotten events to share with friends and families during the holidays. You might even be surprised to discover that there is more than one version of your favorite story. Instructor: Mary Scherf
